Cyber security

Cyber security built into how we design, deliver and run circuits.

Government, defence and enterprise customers trust us with sensitive traffic and information. We protect the circuits we deliver, the information we hold about them and the systems we run them from, and we offer security services on top.

Security services

Protection for your traffic and services

Encrypted circuits

Line-rate · Ethernet and wavelengths

Line-rate encryption options are available for applicable Ethernet and wavelength services. DSV24 works with customers to identify an encryption approach appropriate to the service design, endpoints and security requirements.

DDoS protection

Detection · mitigation

DDoS detection and mitigation options are available for applicable internet and IP services, with the specific protection model defined as part of the service design.

Security monitoring

Threat detection · 24/7 escalation

Operational and security monitoring can include threat and anomalous-activity detection, with defined alerting and escalation through DSV24's 24/7 network operations function.

How we keep circuits secure

Cyber security in how we build and operate

Supply-chain checks

Applicable supply-chain requirements are considered during route design and supplier selection. For U.S. federal requirements, relevant Section 889 representations and contractual requirements are addressed in accordance with applicable acquisition provisions and DSV24's current federal representations. We accept applicable cyber security flow-downs from prime contractors, including DFARS 252.204-7012.

Restricted NOC access

Only authorised staff can access our network management systems, using individual accounts and multi-factor authentication.

Incident response

A defined process to detect, contain and resolve security incidents, and to notify affected customers promptly.

Protecting your information

How we handle customer and contract information

Need-to-know access

Route documentation, KMZ files, site information and contract details are shared only with the staff and suppliers who need them to deliver your service.

Secure exchange

Sensitive and controlled information is exchanged using encrypted transfer methods, such as DoD SAFE, or by the method the customer specifies.

Protected systems

Company systems use individual accounts, supported software with prompt security updates, malware protection and firewalls, and office access is limited to authorised staff with visitors escorted.
